Last but not least, the one and only John Shima finishes off this quadra pack with a stellar remix taking your vibes and ears to territories of spacey and warm 90s frequencies. Experience "Supernova" and the quality its 4 tracks provide essential for those who like their House & Techno on the authentic side.

PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy have been writing and producing music together and on solo projects for over a decade. They've released music on Goldbrick Records and solo on Boe Recordings and Lime Street Music amongst others. These two tracks for Nightflight are for the dance floor and were inspired by longer dj sets performed together over the years.

KHONSU

Khonsu’s signature dreamy deep dubby sound- exploring the murky visceral grooves in the boundaries between deep techno and house – is soothing for mind, body & soul. His musical journey as a deejay, producer and promotor started in his hometown Ghent in Belgium. After residing a year and half in Amsterdam and working briefly at Delsin records, he’s back in Belgium playing in clubs like Chalet Club and Katerblau in techno capital Berlin, Barcelona’s Switch Pocket Club but also Belgian techno institute Fuse in Brussels. He has been producing music for several years but now it’s time for his first release on Nightflight Records.

JOHN SHIMA

John Shima doesn’t need much introduction. He is making deep emotional futuristic techno, with an old school spacey Detroit groove. Bordering the line between techno & electro, sounds shape the track and the beats follow the mood using old analogue hardware, and lots of live jamming. He features releases on Boe Recordings, Exalt Records, Firescope, Subwax Excursions, Distrikt Paris, Central Processing Unit…

A 3 track EP from Anatolian Weapons diving deep into downtempo atmospheric techno productions never surpassing the 110bpm mark. A-side starts off with a 16 minute oeuvre that gently grows from a beatless 4 minute opening into a full on acid tinted percussive oasis that will make you question your sobriety. The B side offers similar generosities with two even slower excursions in synthetic dubbed out atmospheric downtempo. Vocal samples in mysterious dialects over driving bass synth energies – the perfect soundtrack to deepest psychedelic affair. Mastered by Manmade Mastering in Berlin.
The Gospel According to Victor (TGAV) kicks off its inaugural transmission on wax with an EP of driving, timeless, yet modern house music from label-owner, Tro. Inspired by a cryptic, otherworldly occurrence in Toronto in the summer of 2023, TGAV001 sees the enigmatic Berlin-based producer present the gospel of his musical sensibilities: four slices of dancefloor-oriented mind-music, seamlessly blending novel sound design techniques with hypnotic grooves reminiscent of 90s tech-house / minimal nostalgia. Peppered with the types of subtle surprises characteristic of his live act, TGAV001 takes the listener on a cosmic journey through space and different realms, with a hint of the absurd.
Release 8 on Nightflight Records is delivered by TN, a moniker of a Belgian producer with numerous releases on quality labels. Flux White released the producer’s first EP as TN in 2019.This three-tracker digs deep into the vaults of TN’s productions, containing the first track he ever made (Novice but True). These are three pure dancefloor tracks; no pretention just effective DJ tracks to dance to reminiscing simpler house days.
Kontra-Musik returns with a new release on its sought after, vinyl-only, white label series. The label from the start has celebrated analogue expressions of dance music and now presents a new record by long time label collaborator PST (of Kontra, Workshop & Sued fame). On the A-side PST brings us a 15-minute long analogue techno meltdown. The track is so powerful the vinyl almost melts when played. On the flip, the mood is different. The title of the first track, Houseparty +, is very revealing to say the least, before the EP ends with artist's signature mood music house sound. PST is a master of his craft, and it is with joy and pride we release a new hand-stamped vinyl after a few years of COVID hiatus.
Another dreamer joins our OCD ranks. After our launch EP by ac$, we’ve cast our ears across the pond and discovered Adam Solomon, pushing the underground scene up in Montreal. With influences spanning across various genres, we believe Adam’s debut EP is just a small insight into what his career will bring forth. From MTL 2 the World.
