The Mystical Earth Rotation EP

Join us as we explore the electrifying second release from Amsterdam’s Locked-In label. Noiro and Riku Sugimoto combine their talents in the vibrant EP titled “L8 M8,” taking us on a thrilling journey through the realms of house and techno. The EP opens with Noiro’s captivating track “Viens Dormir,” instantly igniting a dancefloor reverie with its infectious grooves. On the A2 Riku delves deeper underground with “City Sleep,” intertwining trippy vocal samples with punchy drums and pulsating bass tones. On the flip we have “Semicircular,” where Riku creates a mesmerizing soundscape with evolving recurring motifs. Finally, Noiro concludes the EP with the sonic gem “Hey Man,” embodying the spirit of the dancefloor and setting the stage for a night of pure bliss.

The idea of the project was to reconstruct a different perspective of Tribal Italia, an imprint set in 1995 in Riccione.The label recollected the attitude of the Afro/Cosmic djs of the region like Meo, Fary, Fattori and Brahms that created a distinctive "world-sound trademark" in whole Italy and Europe (as seen lately in the Austrian experiments of Stefan Egger).There was a side of the label that was clearly influenced by the "heavy-sample" culture of Hip-Hop and, especially, by what was going on in the UK where groups like Transglobal Underground and Loop Guru were creating a new identitarian imagination.These influences gave birth to a suggestive selection of the best breaks of the Tribal Italia catalogue.

Satelliet Studio Recordings is a Berlin based label born first as a multidisciplinary brand related to the early underground music scenes. Since years Satelliet built up a community through creating and sharing material connected to it.This release, named “The Light In The Darkness Saga Vol1”, is the first of a trilogy that will be mainly curated by the italian producer Otis and Satelliet’s co-owner and creative director Intheismah.The record is the result of a long journey embracing different styles such as Dark Electro House and Synth Techno, creating a perfect blend of dancefloor filler and afterhours tracks. Back in 1993 Alex Neri and Marco Baroni decided to follow the path of experimentation, crossing the bridge between Melodic Italian Deep House and Progressive Music.This concept is better expressed in the name “Kamasutra” itself, because their music has changed shades, evolving in different “positions” for each version released. Repressed today including two remixes by Gene on Earth and Mennie.
